SERIOUSLY? "putting string around"? so she bought string specifically for diapers? isn't there a rough sketch on the outside of the diaper package complete with simple, 2 or 3-step directions? wouldn't a reasonable person figure that out in roughly 3.5 seconds? if you can't put on a diaper properly, how do you have time to throw a big party? you have more important things to worry about....
