movies at the pool
So I just went with my friends Jaci and Allie to McCarren park, a park out in Brooklyn with this BIIIIG empty pool. So they set up this huge movie screen and people sit in the empty pool and watch. Super cool. Tonight we watched the Virgin Suicides. Kind of a depressing movie to see, but it was a really cool setting. I'd go back for sure!

What a novel idea! How often do they do it?
They actually do it all the time! I was actually invited to go see one more movie tonight and heard about another in 2 other parks around the city. So it's pretty popular in the city. I think the ones in this park I went to last night are weekly.
